SeaChange Marine Conservation Society, established as a charitable non-profit prganization in 1998, educates children and the public about marine and watershed ecology through hands-on interactive outdoor programs. We also conserve and restore marine nearshore eelgrass habitats in BC in partnership with coastal communities, from Boundary Bay to Haida Gwaii.
The Robert Bateman Centre is located in the Steamship Terminal on Victoria’s Inner Harbour. The Centre displays the definitive collection of Robert Bateman’s work. The centre is also used to support a dynamic program of public events.
FUN Society is an innovative “action-tank” working to redefine the very meaning of education. We believe that the purpose of education is to raise a society of good people with open, active minds and beautiful hearts.
World Fisheries Trust is a Canadian non-profit organization located in Victoria, BC. We act both locally and internationally, with our local initiatives focused on environmental education, public outreach, and the promotion of environmental stewardship and life-long learning. Our local projects include the Seaquaria in Schools program, the Gorge Waterway Nature House, various environmental research and monitoring projects, and the Eco Learning Hive itself!
