One World - United by Water

Member all along the Pacific Northwest come together annually to share ideas, collaborate, and learn more about hands-on education through our waterways. This year will be held in beautiful Metchosin along Pedder Bay, creating access to experience Earth's treasures first hand. This 4 day conference will include many workshops, all focusing on the over-arching theme of "One World-United by Water".

This activity is great for illustrating connections among the ecosystem services that are provided by Nature for all life to survive. It also is a visible demonstration of these connections and how interrelated we all are with them.

World Ocean's Day with Fish Eye Projects

In celebration of World Oceans Day June 8, 2016, join the first interactive underwater cinematic experience at IMAX Victoria. You can see, hear, talk and share in the discovery of spectacular marine environments with scuba divers, in real-time, all without ever getting wet. World Ocean's Day at Fisherman's Wharf

A day to celebrate the oceans that surround us, educate people of the diversity of marine life in the Salish Sea, Victoria's Inner Harbour and Fisherman's Wharf, and show how making small changes in our everyday life can add up to a big difference to the planet. 
Funds raised support local conservation projects and green initiatives at Fisherman’s Wharf.
Don’t miss all the fun activities including a scavenger hunt, Sammy the Seal, face painting, First Nations traditional dancers, silent auction and more!

Science Odyssey at Hillside Shopping Centre

World Fisheries Trust is teaming up with Hillside Shopping Centre and our community partners to bring you a weekend of Ocean Science at Hillside Mall's Ocean Wall as part of Science Odyssey! Over the weekend, we will be showcasing the amazing efforts being done in our community to protect our oceans and waterways!

Your child may think they’re just having a great time paddling a kayak or riding a horse, but they’re actually connecting with the natural world and learning how to become leaders who protect it.

Utilizing the FUN Approach, our passionate leaders work to connect  FUN Campers with their local environment, expertly pairing traditional camp activities such as hiking, swimming and interactive games with environmental education and exciting adventure activities including whale watching and zip-lining.
