Junior Nature Sketch Club - July 11th – July 29th

 

Ages: 6 – 12 years 

 

9 Ecosystems in Victoria Parks 

 

Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday

 

Time: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm 

 

Cost: $150

 

This 3 week Junior Nature Sketch Club will be hosted by artist Leanne Cadden along with a naturalist and will focus on observing wildlife in unique environments and using our sketchbooks and pencils to record habitat observations. Along with 9 custom lesson plans for each ecosystem, the group will be discovering new parks and ecosystems during this session as well as an added hour to each outing.

 

Junior Nature Sketch Club: Advanced Sketching – July 11th – July 29th

 

Ages: 6 – 12 years

Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday

 

Time: 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm

 

Cost: $150

 

Junior Nature Sketch Club Advanced Sketching is a 2 hour class that will located in the same ecosystems as the morning JNSC class but will focus more on nature sketching techniques. This class will also have 9 custom lesson plans for developing sketchbook technique out in nature.

 

Junior Nature Sketch Club: Full Day Club – July 11th – July 29th Ages: 6 – 12 years 9 Ecosystems in Victoria Parks Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday Time: 9:30 pm – 3:30 pm Cost: $270 (All materials provided) Sign up for the full day which includes both sessions and time for lunch.  

About the Artist

 

Leanne Cadden is a nature artist who began drawing and painting at the young age of 3 years old under the guidance of her great grandmother, Di Varley. By the time she was 15 years old, Leanne was winning awards for her artwork in the mediums of pencil, charcoal, watercolour, pastel, pen and ink and acrylic. She has continued to pursue her passion for art and nature and loves to share that passion with younger generations.
